XSL-FO: Is it possible to have a table continue on the same page

I have a table that is less than half the page wide, is there a way that the table would continue on the same page, instead of continuing on the following page?

What format is your output? Text, html, PostScript, PDF?

PDF, sorry, I am using Apache FOP 0.20 (for the time being, i have to use 0.20)

I don't think I have explained my problem clearly. I have a table which is relatively narrow and I sometimes it will continue onto the next page (page orientation is landscape). I would like to have this table continue into the other half of the page when it is going to continue onto the next page. I am formatting the XML into a PDF using Apache FOP 0.20, and cannot use 0.94.

I think the reason tsuji sent you to that page is for the example of having two tables on one page.

I.e. create table for column 1, fill column 1 while counting the rows, when full, create table for column 2, fill column 2 while counting the rows, when full finish the page.
