Hi,
Last week I have installed a couple of xSeries 445, and
booting by W2K Advanced Server CD, pressing F6 at the right moment, the result was a "dark blue screen" saying:
"Your system is not fully ACPI compliant ..."
Download latest bios or press F7 ....
The machines are "fresh of factory" an the bios was the latest available (1.02) . (Now I see that in the 23th Dec has been relesed 1.03, but I don't see modifications about this problem).
However pressing F7 and then F6 at F6 prompt, the machine boots well, but, as aspected, it does not turn off when a shutdown is performed, remaining with message "Safe to power off" (as my P133 office domain controller, 1996).
Is, for your opinion, this normal ?
bye,
the best for next year!
