xsd enumeration from config file

I am in the process of creating numerous xsd files for internal use but seem to have the same enumerations within each file. I was wondering if it was possible to pull in enumeration values from a config file or if I should include these common sections within a common xsd file.

Any tutorials or guidance would be helpful.

It is usually done via the schema composition provisioned according to the w3c schema recommendation.

It is admittedly written with plenty of care so that it would be a difficult reading.

It is more approachable with introductory tutorial articles on xsd:include and xsd:import such as these (and many others).
