You can connect to XPR V7 to a HiPath 4000 V4 or V5 using CorNet-IP. I can't help much beyond the docs, as we've since moved on to OSV and XPR V8.

From the OpenScape Xpressions V7 Server Installation Guide, dated 11/2014:
Server 2003 (R2) and Server 2008 are recommended for new installations.

Connecting a HiPath 4000 V5.0 differs only in one point from connecting a HiPath
4000 V4.0 (see Section D.6, “Connecting HiPath 4000 V4.0 (CorNet-IP)”, on
page 454):
1. Start the XPR monitor.
2. Open the Modules of <XPR server name> window.
3. Doubleclick on CtiApl.
4. Doubleclick on Edit Settings.
5. Doubleclick the HiPath 4000 V5.0 entry.
6. Activate the ACSE (Association Control Service Element) checkbox.
7. Click on OK.
