I thought this would be easy but the syntax is really bogging me down. I am a beginner trying to disseminate from a Health Centre database which women smoke;
I have my query results but am having trouble expressing them as a percentage of the whole. Is this possible to answer without further background detail. Pls. respond even if it is newbie stuff to you...

Hi!

If you mean that you want the numbers formatted as percentages, then, in the QBE interface, select the field that you want to format(by clicking at the top the fields column). Then, still pointing at the top of the column, right click on the selected field and choose properties from the pop-up menu. In the format box, type in percent and then choose the number of decimals you want in the next box. Note: For this format to work correctly, the field in the table must be a single or a double, it will not work with integers.
