Hello Gents,

Happy Holidays!

Is it possible to integrate the HIPATH 4000 V5 to a OPENSCAPE XPR V7?

Hoping for your answers :)

Preferable would be to have at least V6 R1 H4k sys ver.
If connection with XPR is over Dialogic ISDN boards you might have connectivity issue.
Over SIP connectivity is ok.
Also, independent of connectivity type (SIP,ISDN), new features of OpenScape Xpressions V7 will not be supported.

I was running XPR V7 R1.5.18409 on my HiPath 4000 V5 (RMX V5 R1.6.38 / UW7 V5 R1.2.8). We use SIP connections. I'm not sure what "new features" aren't supported, but as a basic voicemail platform it works great.

Xpressions should be connected to 4K with H323 not SIP. SIP will work - but H323 is what is supported from STMI card.

Moriendi, you are correct. I forgot about that! We are currently on a H323 trunk and will move to SIP when we migrate to OSV.
