We are looking into taking local admin rights away from our users on XP workstations.

Using Macola 7x w/sql. Does anybody know the local rights we need to set for Macola to run properly?

Thanks

Scan these forums. White paper available from Macola on the registry settings and ODBC settings. In addition to that the local temp directory usually needs full rights if the company is running any Flex.

With my experience on 7.6.300b w/ P-SQL, users don't need local admin rights to use Progression Workflow Explorer. However, when first installed, the admin must do an intial run of PWE; otherwise, the user will get all sorts of errors.

I've seen very strange printing problems if users didn't have rights to their local windows directories. Usually, it is a problem not being able to change font size so everything fits on the page....
