XP & Wordpad - How to default word wrap to end of Ruler?

Looks like View-Options, wrap to Ruler.
Drag the little notches on the ruler to set them.

Anne - is it possible to have Wordpad keep the formatting to word wrap on ruler as the default every time I open Wordpad XP?
The previous versions of Wordpad do this; as well as default to *.doc as the file save option, which Wordpad XP only saves *.rtf instead of *.doc as the formatted text.

Sorry, david. I looked that one up. I'm no Wordpad user at ALL. Hell, I don't even know what version I have, hee hee. Okay. I just looked and it's 5.1 something with Windows XP.
I changed View-Options to "wrap to ruler", closed Wordpad, restarted it and it opened just fine.
Sounds to me like you don't have rights to your registry, Dave.
