In the past we use Windows 98, now we want to upgrade to XP. we want all the users to use the same interface, e.g. desktop and printer. and the login screen is the same as windows 98 with network. That means when we turn on the computer there is a login screen with login ID and password. After the user type in the correct login ID and the password, the user can go into the server.

Can anyone help me?

thanks

XP does not work that way, in any mode you put it.
If you don't want to adapt the simple way to log in, stay with 98.
Really, what does it matter what it looks like? A name is a nam, a password is a password. The desktop can be modified as please, although you may have alot of tweaking to do while users usually adapt in just a few days.

are your XP users entering a user name and password? This can happen with XP but it will not look exactly the same as 98. At the school district where I work we have kindergarteners that have learned to adapt to XP.
