The school I work for has a small 10 computers lab that I need to set up. We were going to use local policies to lock the PC down as much as possible so that the students do not make any major changes to the PC forcing us to have to reimage it. These PC's will not be on a domain.
Then I found this program called Deep Freeze. Has anyone tried this software where it will put the PC back to its original state after a restart? If it works like it states, we wouldn't need to lock the PC down so much because when the students reboot, it would be back to the way we want. Let me know if any of you have tried this... It would sure save me a lot of time trying to keep the PC locked down...
