XP VPN Server

I'd like to setup a VPN that will give me the same advantages of:
I have remote access to a computer running XP Pro that I'd like to use as the VPN server. I'll use XP Home to connect to the server.

I've followed these instructions and am able to connect to the VPN server:
However, I am not able to access the internet when connected to the VPN server. There must be some additional steps I need to take to enable internet sharing on the VPN server. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it working?

I enabled TCP/IP forwarding on the VPN server and have "Use default gateway on remote network" checked on the client.
