I am having a bit of trouble getting my XP VPN setup working the way I want it to. I have got everything set up and I can connect to the VPN server. I can ping all of the machines on the VPN servers network no problem. I can see that when I connected to the server, a route was added which is correctly directing traffic destined for the servers network. Trouble is I want this to work both ways. I need the server end to be able to access my network. It appears that no route is automaticly set up on the remote end.
The server network is set up as:
100.100.100.x
255.255.255.0
with the VPN server 100.100.100.200
The client network is set up as"
192.168.0.x
255.255.255.0
when connecting to the VPN server it is assigned 100.100.100.201
I have little knowledge of IP routing but I can see that a route was automaticly created on the client side routing traffic to the server network. How can I set up a route on the server side that will route all traffic destined for the clients LAN?
Thanks.
