Hey, I connect through a VPN to the network at my office. The connection was working fine until today. I changed nothing but the connection won't work anymore. I tried to set it up again from the begenning but nothing worked. I really need to patch in to fix something. I'm a programmer and I don't know much about networks. If you need more info please tell me. Thanx a lot.

Could you be a little more specific with the problem. We also connect with XP through VPN and figured out some problems. Maybe we can help, but I need some details like, what kind of problem is it showing you? Do you use any type of tunneling? Have you checked your passwords?

I'm having some problems too with one XP Pro computer. The connection works every now and then. I'm using PPTP. For example a minute ago it worked. And now again it doesn't, it's really rare for it to work. The connection has been tested from many places and different connections but this is the only one that wont work.
I tested it on a laptop running win2k from the same place and with that one it worked.
I installed XP again and only installed the DSL modem on the computer and i still have the problem.
Just keeps telling me verifying user name and password. Giving the wrong pass will result it to ask for the correct one but it usually ends up with a 619 error. Having the right pass from the start gives a 718 error.
I'm going to try with win2k on the problem computer but I still would like to hear if anyone has any solutions.
