Hi, Am new to Server 2003 and have been forced into using it. All the PC's are running Windows XP pro but none of them can logon. it says "Domain controller cannot be found"

Any help

Can you ping the Domain controller from any of the pcs.. Does the Pcs and users have accounts created in active directory?

If I log onto the workstation and not the network I can get to the server with the \\server2003 command from the "RUN" prompt. The users are setup in the server.

Check the IP settings ? Are you using DHCP or manual settings ?

PC's are all pointing to the DNS server and DHCP enabled.

Have you put an entry on the XP machines hosts file of the DC. I had similar problems and this seemed to do the trick.
