this should be in the XP forum (forum779) - its not a hardware question.
You'll need some data recovery software (eg, PC Inspector, Getdataback). You should stop using the drive until ready to try to recover - as use increases chances of actually overwriting area with emails in. Email files should be in folder like:-
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{A2541C88-7DB8-4CCD-996E-7ED87D62FB82}\Microsoft\Outlook Express - with file names ending .dbx (eg, inbox.dbx). Once recovered (if you can) you should be able to import them into Outlook Express.
