XP to XP vpn - get drive mapped but see nothing

I've configured my XP pro machine at home and the router for VPN and can establish the VPN connection and even map a drive, but when the new explorer window opens showing the newly VPN mapped drive, I don't see any of the contents.

Any ideas?
