We have NT 4.0 server having one ethernet card to which two IP addresses have been assigned. As per the administrator this has been done due to security reasons. One IP is in the range of 192.XX.xx.xx and other is 164.100.xx.xx.
All windows 95/98 clients have the IP address of the range 192.xx.xx.xx.They all are getting connected to the server.
When we try to connect to the server from Win XP professional client , we get the following error:-
No domain controller found for Domain XXX.
Check your account on this domain.
From the same XP machine, we have been able to connect to the another (separate) NT 4.0 server where we have only one IP address .
Can anyone help in this regard ?
Regards
