Dear All,

We are upgrading our ailing NT4 system to XP SP2 soon. We still use Microsoft Office 2000 (Access, Excel, Publisher, Word & Powerpoint) and Microsoft Project 98. We like to retain this software and update it later due to training issues etc.

I can't seems to find out anywhere where it says that Microsoft Office 2000 and Project 98 will work on XP SP2. Any ideas anyone ?

Many Thanks for any help.

I use all those on a Win98 machine upgraded to XP Pro without any problems.

I did not find any training issues regarding moving users from MS Office 2000 to MS Office XP. While you might want to train regarding some new features, anyone who can run 2000 can run XP.

My 2 cents.

I installed them on my Toshiba laptop with XP Pro SP1 and upgraded to SP2. Have not had any problems with these apps.

Have Office 2000 and 97 on many machines with WinXP SP2 with no problems.
