I just recently started using Verizon DSL at home on a brand new HP desktop PC.
Used juno before getting dial up. PC has Norton Anti-Virus as well.
DSL worked fine for two or three days. Then I think sleep mode messed everything up. Now as the computer boots, the following message is displayed:
The system is shutting down. Please save all work in rogress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT\Authority\System
Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) terminated unexpectedly.
I have no idea what to do next. I tried Ctrl-Alt-Del and I'm not at the point where I want to restore the system... Any other ideas?
Thanks,
JMP
