here's a hair puller....
i am getting an aclayers.dll error in Quickbooks 2001 under winXP.
QB2001 was installed according to the instructions at quickbooks.com [hard drive install, no IE 5.5]. It starts fine but trying to open or convert older QB files returns this error. The MS support suggested the windows XP Application Compatibility Update (December 17, 2001) but quickbooks is not listed in the software list. Could the aclayers.dll be corrupt or is Intuit full of it when they say QB 2001 can be installed on an XP machine?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
JMinton
