Can anyone shed any light on this? All the DSL settings seem to be ok, maybe its an XP Thing, any ideas?

IE, Tools, Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings, Advanced, uncheck everything on that page.

Hi still doing the same thing, anyone else got any ideas?

Did you check Control Panel, Power Options to see if there is a hibernation setting on the ethernet adapter?

Also, Device Manager, Network Connections, Properties, configure for the ethernet adapter, Advanced, is there any sleep settings on the adapter?

If the adapter is a RealTek chipset, you need to download from the Realtek site their configuration software to disable the inactivity timer.

No still no difference, none of those thing, but thanks though, any more ideas?

Had same problem a year ago. Called ISP to fix the problem on their end.
