I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 and feel I need to do a Windows Repair Install due to a couple of things not working correctly.
When I upgraded to XP Pro, I used a Windows XP SP2 Upgrade disk as I was previously using Windows ME.
I have since upgraded my system to SP3, so as I could run SFC, do XP Repair install or re install Windows, I made a slipstream disk using my original Upgrade disk and SP3.
What I now find, the slipstream disk will not allow me to do a Windows Repair Install as that option no longer exists, it does not see the existing XP Pro operating system and wants do a fresh install.
I would appreciate advise on how to overcome this problem.
