XP Pro unable to keep time... 1

Our XP Pro won't keep time on our Dell Dimension 4400. Dell says XP has an issue... has anyone heard of it? The auto-sync "feature" returns an error. Nothing specific. Just "unable to sync due to error". And if you turn the auto-sync off, it still loses time.

Go to Dells site and search for losing time. It's a known bug and there's a patch for it (time.exe) Tyrone Lumley

TRy using internet time to synch your system clock to a time server. Many systems will detect incorrect time settings as a sedurity breach. If you double click on your clock while connected to the internet you can update your system time automatically.
