We have an issue which I find extremely frustrating! Any help that can permanently fix it would be great.

Last year we ran the patches from Microsoft to "fix" the time change issue. As of today we have several but not all PCs changing their clock back an hour. Why can't Microsoft get this right!

What the heck is the issue if we ran the "fix" last year and what is the permanent "fix" so this does not happen again?

All help is greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing its the Daylight savings time kicking in? If the computer is set to do it, it will do so, when Daylight savings time goes into effect and change the clock back or forward one hour.

Depending on where you are in the word its may occur at different times of the year.

Right Click on the clock, and click on adjust Date/Time. Then Go to the Time Zone Tab and unTick the "Automatically Adjust for daylight savings time." Check box.

Also if it is set up to synchronize time with a time server it will change the time with daylight savings as the time server changes its time.

You might also want to unset that.

There have been more than one set of "fixes" for time issues. So, if you only updated last year, you may have missed some updates and that is causing your problem.
