I have been trying recently to st-up wireless conenction to the net since getting ADSL, so far I have been some what unlucky! I've tried a draytek, netgear and now I am on my final go of a D-Link 604+. What seems to happen is, if my laptop goes in to sleep mode or I siwtch it off, when I log back on again, I can't get out the net. Some times it resolves the sites (so dns appears to work) but no traffic is passed. It's at this point I have to re-boot the access point and my laptop, this then allows me to connect to the router to manage it, I then have to re-boot it in order to get working again! This was one of the problems with the netgear also so it may be the laptop! I have tried disabling dhcp, wep and have checked and re-checked that the router is still connected to adsl when the issues happen. I am running the latest firmware and drivers but its still happening.

Could anybody help before I lose yet more hair??

i saw a post elsewhere where someone had a similar issue and i believe flushing dns using 'ipconfig /flushdns' and purging and reloading the remote cache name table 'nbtstat -R' fixed it for that guy..
