XP Pro over XP Media Edition

Hello all,

Dumb question here, but I thought I would ask. I just picked up a Sony Vaio RZ46G desktop unit, which comes with XP Media Edition installed. I would like to install XP Pro overtop because there are functions in XPP that I need. I'm wondering if any of the cool media functionality in XPME (e.g., the media center/cable TV integration, etc.) will be stripped out if I make the change.

Hi,
I dont have any experience in this but I doubt u can install XP pro over it and still keep some of the features.
I'd say u'll have to do a complete upgrade.
