xp pro is not booting

hello every body,

my system is having a typical problem, when i start system, it safemode options screen, choose any option, again it is restarting and same screen is appearing, i have tried the recovery console from windows 2000 professional CD, but of no use,, not only in one system, another system is also behaving like this,i suspect the virus affecting the boot sector, please help me in this concern

Try the FixMbr Command from Recovery Console or Fdisk /Mbr from a 9x Startup floppy.

Perform a full virus scan.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.
