XP Pro IIS Question...

iis must be installed...goto control panel>add programs > windows components and install iis Bastien

There are many ways to skin this cat,
but it still tastes like chicken
 
Hi Tony,
First (if not already know)
go to your administrative tools
click IIS (internet information services)
this opens the IIS control panel
expand the + to local computer option
expand the + to web site folder

this is your folder
place your pages in here to run them
typing in the will not auto run the pages if they are not in this directory.

OK
to run them you can again type in the url address bar OR seeing as you are already in the control panel do this
right click the page after you transfer it into the then click browse NOT OPEN
open will open the page for development (editing)
browse will initialize IE and run the page.

of course you can have multiple virtual dir. in the default web also but for now you may want to get the feel of IIS here.

I just noticed that when I double click the Internet Information Services it's empty.
