Strange once this, i had to re-install windows after a virus. I cant for the life of me remember what i called my PC before the crash.
After the rebuild i cant access 1 of my old profiles My Doccuments folder (It contains all my old Uni work and tonnes and tonnes of other stuff i just cant loose)
That profile was called "dave" and had a password on it, while the other profile for guests called "Music" had no password on it and the My Doccuments is still accessable.

If i click on "daves" My Documents i get the error "Access is denied" and i cant get into it via dos either.

how can i get in to this profiles My documents?, i have created another user called Dave, but i still cant get in.

I think the problem is that the folder thinks it is on another machine, and i dont have the rights to access it. How can i get round this?

Thanks for any help, it is vital i get this work back, i know it is still there as it is taking up HD space
