XP pro cannot ping another subnet??

Hi ,

Ive got a strange problem:

Were on a W2k domain,ive got 95/98se/w2k and xp pro clients.

When im on another subnet with a Xp pro client i can ping the local network but not beyond the router.so i cant reach the DC located in another subnet of the same Domain ....
The other clients have no problem doing this...

Does someone know why!??
