Hi
I have just upgraded from win 2000 pro to xp pro sp2 so i am in the learning phase. I want to do a full backup using the built in backup, backup to cd. I know this sounds silly but will the backup program burn to cd. I have not had any luck yet besides just backing up to a file and then burning. Also i would need to know how to split the file size up since it is 10gb. Any help would be would be great.

Thanks

If you are doing this with XP's software then you must save to file and then burn to CD.

If you have Zip file software have a look for any Splitting or Spanning options for use with your backup file before burning.

Use other backup software that incorporates disk spanning in their program.

Get a second hard drive and save any backup to that.

How can I use Windows XP's NTBackup to back up files to CD-RW?
