I have a question concerning the backup software that comes with XP Pro (The also is available on XP-Home, but has to be taken from the XP cd).

I ran the wizard, and choose to "backup everything on my computer", however I tried to backup to my cd-burner, but it said it was invalid media. So, I directed the backup file to me c: drive. The .bkf is 6.9gb, is there anyway I can get this copied onto cd's?

I would suggest in this cicumstance that you either install a new HD and back the data up to that OR just back up user data ( outlook settings, favourites personal files etc ) to CD.

Backing uip 6.9 gig to Cd's is not really an option.

Superjon, yes I agree. I was just wondering why I couldn't strecth it across 12 cd's or so.

Use Nero and create a set of backup disks.
Use Ghost, and create a set of image restore disks.
Get a second HD, and Ghost it. Cheers,
Jim
