Hello,

I used to use Personal Web Server with Interdev 6.0 for creating and viewing web sites. I now have xp pro and PWS doesn't work with XP, so I don't know what type of "personal web server" I can put on my XP machine to help me with my projects.

Can anyone tell me what to use, so I can get back to developing sites, please.

Thanks.

You need to have IIS installed it is included in xp pro. Goto to add or remove programs, add/remove windows components select "Internet Infomration Services (IIS)"

Im having the same problem but I already do have IIS installed, it's not recognizing a server name (e.g. localhost) when I begin a new project.

Thanks,

Ariel
