We are using an old program App-link, to connect to two mixer computers that are part of our production process.
These 2 mixers can be monitored remotely by any computer on the internal network but will not work through our VPN.
A Lap top running XP Pro can see the mixers in real time from our internal network but when the computer is brought home and connected to the network via our VPN the real time portion of the Monitoring is unavailbe.
The reason for the confusion is that another laptop running Windows 2000 has no trouble viewing the real time mixing over the VPN.
Is there a difference between how XP and Win2K use the VPN? Has anyone used App-link?
Thanks in advance!
