XP PowerToy Desktop Manager question

Hi,

I just installed PowerToy's XP Desktop Manager and have a usage question. The 4 destops I now have available all have the same shortcut icons on them. My impression was that each desktop would have its own (different) set of shortcut icons that I could control. If not, then what's the benefit of having 4 different desktops?
