Hi:
Ready for a Mission Impossible. My Windows XP acts as it was designed to function the way it does on powerdown. Everything on the PC functions except for Paradox 10. I am considering resigning to a DB-less life. But after a lengthy list of all of the items I found online, complete trial-and-error session involving BIOS Setup, reloading Windows XP(twice--once for powerdown, once for something else). I checked the APM check box, unchecked it. No deal. . . . Shutdown works fine, but my puppy won't powerdown. . . .
Any ideas?(Oh, I went through those 15 steps of troubleshooting found online, which should cure even cancer, but--alas--nothing for me.
