XP Password Complexity 1

We are using the Complexity Requirements in Windows XP for passwords and are curious if we can require users to use all 4 of the complexity requirements in their password instead of just 3 of the 4.

A stand-alone Windows XP computer has NO password complexity requirements at all. Are you perhaps in a different type of environment - like Active Directory???

If so, you might post in the Windows 2003 server or Active Directory area.

Using Local Policies you can enable password complexity requirements even on a stand-alone machine.

This is just a stand alone machine that we are locking down.

XP Pro SP3 with all the latest patches from MS.

Maybe that will give you a start?
