XP opening Office'97 passworded documents in DB

Have a number of Users with Windows XP, running Notes 4.6.7 client, who can't open an Office 97 passworded document (using the password) within a Notes database.. Other OS's (2000 and 95/98) have no such problems.

Has anyone seen this before, can you give me any pointers as to the cause (I think it's encryption, but am not sure)..

Sorry - brain wasn't in gear when I wrote this - forgot about the encapsulation of the Word document within Notes document and password not required for change security....

Please ignore this posting...
