I'm running windows server ent ed 2003 in a cluster which in turn is running a SAN composed of 2 windows servers and an IBMDS400 optical raid array. All my staff have been migrated to this array.

My manager has noticed an issue where upon shutting down his pc (xp pro) he recieves the offline synchronisation gui and his system attempts to synch up to data areas (staff homespaces) which he has never opened nor accessed. Now I know i can switch off offline folders but that does not cure the issue all that does is hides it. Has anyone had any issues like this ?

Yes! I have exactly the same problem and I haven't managed to find a solution either!

Not a very helpful response, I know, but at least you know you're not alone. :)

There is an option on the folder options menu for offline files. Athe bottom of the offline files tab there are buttons to delete, view, and advanced. You will need to delete the offline files from the offline files folder to correct this issue.
