XP OE6 POP server prob

XP OE6
Every time I reboot the POP3 server gets changed to 127.0.0.1.

I can change it back to pop.ntlworld.com and everything works but when I reboot...

I've looked at Outlook and it happens here as well. It was working perfectly.

I've removed the the account and re-entered many times but this does not help.

Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

This is caused by your antivirus software, specifically either PC-Cillin or Norton. Disable the e-mail scanning component of your antivirus software. The on-access scanning component will still protect you. For a recent discussion see thread605-831435.
