Is it my imagination or is there some comaptibility problems between some or all of the above items. Could any body direct me to good solid info on this

This is my experience:

New Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop
1GHz Speedstep processor
512MB RAM
15.1" UXGA Display
Nvidia GeForce 2 Go Display Adapter

I've had 3 STOP error BSODs.

I initially installed the V5 drivers that shipped with the the laptop. Windows update directed me to put on the V6 drivers.

When I got the BSODs I installed the latest drivers from Dell. Windows update then prompted me to update to V6 again. Since then, every time I boot it says I have recovered from a STOP error and would I like to send an error report!

If it helps, my rig:

Epox 8KHA+ mobo, recent flash
Athlon XP1700+
400W power supply
1 x 512MB DDR (Crucial)
Gainward GeForce3 Ti500, recent flash
SB Live Something-something
3-Com 10/100
WinXP Pro, clean install, 1000MB paging
"latest" Nvidia drivers from MS Update
Alpha HSF w/ 80mm Delta fan
HSF on northbrige chip and one on vid card.
All PCI on separate IRQ! Check your mobo documentation!
Not overclocked, case open, CPU temp ~30C/86F.

No crash so far, but I worked the hardware kinks out before I upgraded to WXP. Do not have your cards physically share IRQs. Use name-brand RAM.
