I have a new XP machine that I have set up on my work NT network. I am connected to the network but I am confused as to how to get network logon authetication working on boot up.

I need to logon as the network administrator to the domain through the machine but I can only log on locally.

Help!

You'll need to join the machine to the domain first then (assuming its not XP Home, which can't join domains). System properties, Computer name tab, 'To Rename this computer or join a domain, click change' (or use the network wizard).

Pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL twice will give you the NT/W2k logon screen.
