XP Mode Greyed out

Any tricks to getting xp mode to work on Windows 7 Professional? I hd this link for a patch and to install Virtual PC, ids that the way to do it know?

The steps are quite clear, and simple to follow. Is your hardware qualified to run XPMode?

You mentioned that XP Mode is grayed out or dimmed, can you elaborate a bit further. Did you get it installed successfully?

Your CPU needs to support virtualization and it needs to be enabled in the bios. I think I had the same issue before enabling it in the bios

I had problems at first because I installed it in the reverse order. The microsoft website has percise instructions and it will work.
