XP logs on then logs off

Please Help, when logging on to XP PRO after typing password it logs off. I can logon in safe mode. I have tried replacing the SAM, SECURITY,SOFTWARE,SYSTEM, and DEFAULT file from the repair folder with Recovery Console and it seems to work for a short period of time. I have tried to do a system restore to previous date but that fails also. I have run Norton 2003 Antivirus and found no Viruses. I am lost at this point.

Enter Safe Mode as Administrator.

Start, Run, CMD

type:

regsvr32 regwizc.dll
regsvr32 licdll.dll
exit


Then logoff and restart the system normally.
