XP keeps detecting "new" printer that's already installed 1

Every time I boot up XP pro, it "detects" new hardware...a printer I have already installed. It works fine and everything, but I keep getting this annoying new hardware detected screen that I have to cancel.
This is on a Dell inspiron 8000, PIII 900

Any help would be greatly appreciated
