Hi all,
win xp pro.
I am banging my head against the wall for 2 days trying to
dial into my xp from win 98 machine.
I set up an incoming connection on the xp, added a user,tried specifing the ip numbers and allowing the computer to assign them, tried everything else that I could find on the webb, followed the audio instructions built into xp ect. Nothing works.
When I dial the xp answers and the machines chat back and forth then I get the 629 Remote server disconected the call error. I think the problem is on the xp but I can't find it. I also can't get it to go the other way and dial into the win 98.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
