For an install I need to do (scanning software)
I need to allow users to "Lock pages in memory"
In xp Pro
can use gpedit.msc
set local security policy
- local policies
- user rights
- lock pages in memory and add the everyone group.

Is there a way to do the equivalent in XP Home - possibly editing the registry directly.

See if you can use "NTrights.exe" as in this example?

SeLockMemoryPrivilege is the right you need to change. Check out the parameters to suit your needs.
