I am trying to achieve the impossible?
A client wishes to access his office network from home. He has ISDN and an machine running XP Home edition.
Office network is based around an NT4 network. I tried to install RAS on the server but it is old and shaky and won't accept alow the service to start - probly something to do with IRQ conflict but itis in constant use and I do not have the time requried to keep fiddling and rebooting to get it going so I have another plan:
Install ISDN Terminal Adapter on an old Windows 98 machine which is logged into the network and then dial in to that using Dial Up Server. Once in I would like to make the home based machine part of the Domain.
Is this possible? Right now I can''t even get the Dial Up Server to accept my call.
