Is there a way to setup XP Home to access our network domain? We are currently in the process of installing our first actual server. We will be using Small Business Server 2003 with Exchange. We have 5-6 computers with XP Home. We need to set these to access the main server and Exchange. So far everything I have read is that it cannot be done.

Thanks for any help in advance.

The Home edition was never build to do that, although there is a hack that allows you to do it anyway, but that would be in violation with the license.

Marcs41 - That is what I have found out. I know when I tell my boss this, he is not wanting to purchase XP Pro. Although, where we purchased the server from, they can get us copies for $150 each.

probably can get upgrade copies for less than that. I wouldnt do an inplace upgrade, i would do a fresh install. You can do that with upgrade media no problem. You should also be able to buy vista licenses and back rev to XP pro, then at a future date you can move to vista at no extra cost. should talk to your reseller about it.

XP Pro or Vista is not that expensive anymore.
