XP Group Policy to recognize USB Pen Drives

I am working with ZEN4 and use group policies.Many of my staff now have little USB pen drives which are great but, when attached to the computer, are not recognized for teachers. Only admin users can get them to load.
I have searched the group policy and cannot find a hardware issue, but know it must be there somewhere. Any ideas?
